Took maybe an hour to install everything if that and their YouTube videos were very easy to follow. I was able to replace everything without touching the ribbon cable and I'd advise not removing it if you can. It came with screwdrivers and replacement screws. I ended up not needing the extra screws but it was nice if I had accidentally stripped them. I really like how soft the top and bottom shell are and the color goes well with the purple blue color I got for the replacement buttons and grips. Please note I purchased the grip, shell, and buttons separately and they did not all come together.A nice way to differentiate your controllers. A good subtle look and a pleasingly soft feel. Install was just as easy as other shells I’ve tried and pretty much lines up cleanly, especially when compared to those other options. The biggest benefit when compared to others is that I did not encounter loud or “clacky” sounding buttons/D-pad after install. So far all others I’ve tried, especially the SNES styled shell, have had this terrible auditory side effect, which has caused me to remove them in favor of this one.Looks great and feels nice, but be warned it does NOT come with instructions on how to put it on. I had to watch a YouTube video while putting mine on and almost messed up a piece of the circuitry, which would’ve ruined my pro controller. Just be incredibly careful and delicate when switching out the faceplate. Also for some reason the faceplate didn’t quite click in on the top back part of my controller, but it’s not that noticeable and it could’ve been user error.Great kit, directions provided are more than enough to replace the plates. Feels great, looks great. Bought with the d ark red buttons and handles.Quick easy and feels goodWould love to give this a higher rating the material feels amazing and looks fantastic. Sadly for me the shell did not align with my pro controller and had to keep the original outer shell.
