If you're looking for an official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, this isn't it. However, it's a great un-named brand that hits all the marks to look real. The controller feels great and works great, with motion controls. The only feature missing is the Amiibo scanner, so you can't scan them. If that's a deal breaker look for the official brand.I was looking for a cheap wireless controller to play Smash Bros, and was very excited when I found one at this price point. Unfortunately, if you intend to use this controller to play Smash, I would recommend skipping this one and finding a controller with a higher build quality,At first glance this controller looks pretty good. It is smaller and lighter than the Pro, and it is shaped more like a PS3 controller, with sharper edges than other 3rd party switch controllers. The white plastic looks very clean, and the Smash Bros logo looks fantastic on top of the matte black finish. I had no issues hooking it up to my switch, and the battery life is very long; I only had to charge it after a full week of playing 2-4 hours a day. However, When it comes to how it functions, this controller had some issues fresh out of the box. The joysticks have low quality internal components, making them feel very clicky with varying degrees of pressure required for inputs. My left joystick had more resistance when pushing to the left, and my right joystick had more resistance when pushing up. The buttons and D-Pad are fine, a little wobbly but still entirely useable. The triggers feel just like any other switch controller, but are slightly smaller.I primarily use my Switch to play Smash Bros so my standards are pretty high. That being said, after about a week of using this controller I started to notice some glaring issues. My left joystick now drifts heavily to the left, and there is a large amount of input lag - usually about 0.5 and 1 second - when using the triggers. I have primarily used this controller to play Smash, but these issues are still apparent when playing other games like Breath of the Wild.Overall this controller is pretty good for the price considering it is wireless and has that cool Smash design, but I cannot recommend buying this to play Smash Bros. Instead, either shell out the $60 for a Pro controller - it is worth it they are fantastic - or buy one of the Power A wireless controllers for around $35.However, If you are a casual switch user looking for a very cheap wireless controller, this is a decent place to start. I bought this to use as a general gamepad on my computer, and it does the job perfectly. I also connected it to a Switch and it recognized it as a Pro Controller and played just fine. It looks and feels just like a regular Pro Controller without the highway robbery price of a replacement controller from Nintendo. My only problem is that it does NOT connect to my computer via Bluetooth as advertised, and I've checked with 3 separate computers to verify this. Works just fine with a USB Type C wire although the wire that came with the controller was cheap and unreliable, but overall that's an easy replacement and it works if you have nothing else. I've had no issues with drift in about 8 months of owning it, and it's even survived a new coat of paint and clear coat with no problem. You cant beat it for the price! But its not perfect. Playing smash bros I had to turn the vibration off because it would go crazy haha and there seems to be some slight drift while playing pokemon shield in the wild area but I may have been at a weird angle with the switch when I sat more inline with it so it may be nothing.Outside of that would 100% reccomend to get this over the full price controller it works awesome! Heck it even had nintendo.com support website printed on it, its quality is an identical match.I've been eyeing this controller for the past year now and finally decided to pick one up. So far, it hasn't disappointed me! There might be a slight delay for Bluetooth with Smash. I wouldn't suggest playing Online with it, but for Mario Kart and other games it seems to work really well. Also, as a bonus the Home Button wakes up my Switch! It took a bit getting used too compared to the joy con, but I love it. The battery lasts a long time! My only issue is now the left joy stick sticks a bit so my character keeps walking left without being touched. Other then that it works great and I would definitely buy again.Best wireless pro controller available. Its so cheap compare to other controllers and works perfectly. My controller actually broke after a few months and the right joystick must be broken somehow because if I'm doing anything it just keeps going to the right and I can't really control anything anymore.GoodWont connect very easily, constantly searches for the switch even when not in use.The buttons are broken!!!
