These are really nice and sturdy. I love the color!All this time I thought my phone manufacturer had cheaped out and that's why my file transfers ran at like half the speed of USB 2.0 instead of full 3.0 speed, but no it turns out that it was my USB-C cable that ran that slow. Who tf makes a super slow-speed type-C cable? Switch cables and suddenly my transfers are done in seconds instead of minutes. Feel like an idiot for putting up with that other cable for as long as I did.Pros: Looks good. Seems well made.Cons: 1) USB-C connector should be uni-directional, however on my phone I have to flip the USB-C connector whenever I get a low charging msg. 2) USB-C will not stay connected to my phone. It started being loose, now it barely stays on. I suspect there's a problem with the plastic sleeve within the connector.Summary: cable sure looks nice !! Older version with USB mini connectors always worked great. I do not recommend the USB-C cable version.********************************Updated Review 4-12-2022revised rating: 5Reasons: 1) JSAUX Customer Support reached out for my feedback clearly past Amazon return cutoff date & replaced both USB-C cables. 2) design failure point had less to do with the JSAUX cable versus the industry USB-C connector design standard. 3) user error !! Yup, it's Me. I handle my phone alot during charging. The JSAUX USB-C cable is very stiff, the USB-C connector is very short with internal plastic sleeve. That sleeve cannot handle any stress & load movement.Conclusion: I changed my usage style... don't move the phone while charging.Most significantly, I was very impressed with the JSAUX Customer Support organization. The 5-star rating is as much for the cable as is for JSAUX Customer Support.Longer, stronger and definitely more cooler looking then most default type Cs that come with your mobile device, and it comes with two? Now that's radical.Hmm No dislikes I can think of, it works even with fast charging as well as using it to link my Oculus Quest 2 to my PC for fast data transfer. I thought the price was good for a single cable and it arrives and is a pack of 2 so yeah NICE?A little stiff at 1stVery stiff cable.I was able to find the cause of my data transfer issue in a way. So 5 stars.Old title: Good for charging, bad for data transfer (1 star)Ran into an issue... When transfering folder of files to my phone larger than say +5-20GB, the phone will disconnect. I know the cause is this cord because my other usb3.0 cord (that slips out easily) that I replaced with this blue cord does not have the same issue (old usb3.0 cord is able to transfer a 25gb folder with no issue). Both blue cords I got have the same issue... So it's not some random defect... This sucks.Old title: So far so good (5 stars)The data transfer is USB 3.0 (5Gbps) not USB 2.0 (480Mbps), thank goodness; I checked by transfering files.It does not charge slow (using regular charging rate @20% battery is around 1900mA, which is appropriate).The cord doesn't slip out of my phone port like my old cord, which I'm replacing with this new cord. I'll update my review if any issues come up.The thickness/stiffness of the cord compared to thinner or weaker cords is either from the style of this cord to make it more durable and or the added thickness from the extra wires usb 3.0 has. If all you need is charging and not a faster data tranfer speed, you might prefer a different cord if you want a thinner more flexible cord.It a good deal, my box arrived open inside the amazon box with the cords busting outta it, is why im ratting it less they i would, i tend to fall asleep alot with phone in hand so it has surived my rolly pollys meaning its good long lasting cordAwesome cord. Fixes connection issues, good length and nice looking.
