Just got this hooked up last night. I got it as a gift for my son for his 4th birthday. We have a wii but I wanted something he could play easily. We got the Paw Patrol game in addition to the game that comes automatically in the game system. It's easy to set up with your tv, even I could do it. It's a smaller system which is nice because it doesn't take up to much room. The remotes are great for little hands & I like that they are easy to transform from the stick for pointing to the control for two handed use. I bought the extra remote which was affordable unlike other gaming systems. We're still having some issues with using the feature in which your child is portrayed in the game. As many reviews say, you have to get the right lighting. But it's something I'll play with & I'm sure I'll get it figured out. My son's loving the game despite this. The only reason I don't have 5 starts off the bat is the lighting trick.Pros: easy set up, small unit, great controls made with little hands in mind, affordable games (give plus) & accessories, easy to understand instructions during games, my son is able to understand what he needs to do.I'm happy with this purchase & will be recommending it to others! We purchased an additional controller for our Leap TV console. There aren't very many games that allow for two players at the same time. We use ours primarily for the Leapfrog Go Cart game. The size of the controller works well for little hands. It also contains a wrist strap to help reduce your risk of having the remote accidentally flung across the room.It is very easy for my 4 and 5 year old to transform the controller on their own. Younger children may need a little extra assistance. So far, the battery life had been very good. This has been a good addition to our LeapFrog collection, and as a mom I'm glad that I don't have to listen to my guys arguing over who gets a remote. Was easy to connect this for a second controller on leapTv ! It’s great now we can play multiplayer no problem fast delivery!Easy set up as second controllerShipped quicker than expected. Can now play 2 players on leap TV.Just what I needed to go with the Leapfrog system...Easy to useThis is okay, and I really like the learning aspect of it. My 5 year old received this for Christmas and it didn't not keep her attention for long at all. I really wish it moved a little quicker as she got really impatient waiting for the transitions and such. The screen is also very hard to see with the camera and she got frustrated pretty quickly and didn't want to play anymore and this is in a room with lots of light and plenty of natural lighting. I like the concept but this was not a hit at our house. We bought this to go alongside our ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(4/5)We bought this to go along with LeapTV game system.Pros:• Good solid controllerCons:• The controller was almost as expensive as the game system... but required if you want to play any 2 player games (this is the main reason for dropping the star)• Nothing to do with the controller but the LeapTV system might be quickly outgrown - thinking we may have been better investing in a WiiU with some age appropriate games that will grow with them.• Again... nothing to do with this controller, but there doesn't seem to be very many games for the system. Not sure how many more will be developed for it in the future either.Perfect for the grandchildrens stockingit works well but i bought it as an extra and you don't really need 2 controllers - or not so far for the 6 games we have so it depends what you are buying it for, do consider whether you are really having 2 players playing at the same time, or one after another (which is what has happened with the games my kids have)The leap TV sometimes has trouble with two controllers , specifically randomly switching which controller it thinks is the primary one , even mid session. I have market the leap TV itself down for this. The controller gets 5 stars as it is well made , sturdy and has survived being manhandled by two not so gentle children!
