So they're not Nintendo brand. But they feel pretty close to the real thing. My biggest pet peeve with them is that it usually takes them a while to connect to the device (takes about 10 seconds -two or three tries). I don't play Nintendo every day so maybe this bothers me less, but if I had to buy another set I would strongly consider buying this again. Vibration on the controller is a little stronger than the Nintendo brand, and I'm guessing the batteries won't last quite as long but that's still to be seen. If you're looking for a cheap replacement that will look and feel like the real thing, this is it. Quality of material is good, at first I felt the buttons were a bit too coarse feeling, but after they wore in a little bit I can't tell the difference between the original and this knockoff. I gave it four stars cuz I could tell the difference between it and OEM, but overall I enjoy my games just as much as I did with the original Nintendo controllers. That being said… the price is perfect for my child in case he breaks another remote… as far as functionality, I will update once’s it’s been used. So it’s neither here nor there… fingers crossed. (The remote that is broke is the original that came with my kids switch… the two on the left are the replacements. Very very much dead on except it’s missing the ‘Brand’ which truthfully for an 8yr… does it really matter…?)You get what you paid for. The R button gets stuck and has to be popped out if it isn’t pressed from the very top which is kind of tedious. Overall, I think you’re better off buying Nintendo ones but if you want to save a bit, this will essentially get the job done.They cannot be used for any game requiring real time controls. Stay away.
