Description

ElecGear Replacement Joystick and Drift Fix PCB for Controllers, Analog Stick Controller Sensor Thumbsticks for PS5, PS4, Xbox, Xbox Elite, Switch Pro and more by ALPS and FU, Models from EL1 to EL7

Features

[EL3 for Switch Pro Controller] – 4x replacement analog joystick work with Nintendo Switch Pro and some PS3 controllers. The thumbstick module was made by ALPS. This RKJXV stick controller series comes with 10KΩ trimmer potentiometers

[Compatibility] – This version of analog stick comes in dark gray bottom plate with two plastic sticks inserting in the PCB. It locks in 3 directions when not sit in controller cover. The trim pot resistors can be in green or black. It is widely used in Switch Pro controller. Some reported it is also used in 8Bitdo SNES controllers

[4x Additional Drift Fix PCB] – Several factors cause joystick drifting a common issue. Even new joysticks can drift. The potentiometer was born without precision. Wear to the carbon film, spring fatigue and material stretching made it not centered. Dust, moisture and drop make it worse. We packed 4x PCB to fix the problem of drifting in one direction. Simply adjust the variable resistor to eliminate the drifting

[When to replace] – The analog joystick needs to be replaced when your controller has the problem of drifting, creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, no reaction when clicking, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. The OEM genuine repair parts ensure accuracy and prolong lifespan

[Reminder of DIY] – With as many as 14 prongs, de-soldering and soldering the whole module takes serious skills. We suggest replacing the potentiometers first to solve most of the joystick problems. If you plan to take off the entire joystick module off PCB, we suggest two methods: 1.Take a look at the desoldering kit at product ID: B0BK7169M8. 2.or you can cut the 14 prongs one by one with a wire cutter

These were exactly what I needed and are worth it.I repaired 3 switch pro controllers and they lasted a long time! A year of EXTREMELY HEAVY USE on Smash Ultimate with my girlfriend before we started feeling any wear on our controllers. If you're having trouble removing older modules on Switch Pro controllers for the first time, I highly recommend getting some chipquik. Whatever solder Nintendo uses is REALLY stubborn and hard to remove.Once you get broken modules out and install these, theyr'e fantastic. Would recommend if you prefer the Switch Pro Controller for Smash Ultimate online use.
