It was a breeze to hook up on my 2014 RAM Laramie Longhorn 5.7 Hemi. Literally 10 minutes or less from the time you open the package to sticking it to whatever location you decide. It makez a HUGE DIFFERENCE.. ? ESPECIALLY in race mode. HOLY HANG ON TO YOU SHORTS.. VERY EXCELLENT PRODUCT. Very user friendly & priced way less than most of the other brands out there. Buy it, you'll be quite satisfied with it.This review is too early for this kind of product but because I received a review request I'll share my experience with the 9-drive after only a couple of days. To be brutally honest I don't know if I can recommend or not yet, it definitely took the lag out of my Lexus is350, very snappy and easy to install with plenty of settings. Here's my current issues, for whatever reason, the check engine/vsc/abs/red triangle lights keep popping up, there is a surging flutter in the beginning of acceleration unless I just take off quicker than I like unless I want to, it's like there's no smooth transition, it's just deal with it or hammer it. I do have a tuned ECU but no problem lights on the dash cluster, until I installed the 9-drive, strangely the lights come and go and that's what concerns me, tuning is not cheap. So if the seller sees this comment email me and tell me if I just got a defective one or is this normal. I'm not returning it yet because I'm hoping the computer figures out what's up and works right, nothing factory on a Lexus is cheap or easy to replace. I'll be doing a follow up review and comment with more timeIt works amazingly better than I expected. I was debating the Pedal Commander, but for ~$300, it's hard to sign off on that just for more throttle response. This cheaper throttle tuner delivers. In both Sport and Racing modes I can feel the increase in response when I drive. The xmsn still has to shift faster but I'm sure I could easily overtake a stock SXT Challenger from start. I have added a bit more HP with a few other mods but the throttle response was always a sore spot. A base model Mustang has better throttle response stock than the stock SXT Challenger, which made me sad... not any longer. This little device makes me enjoy driving my SXT Challenger even more.I'll update later on the eco mode to see if it makes a difference on long drives.I usually don't leave reviews, but this device blew away my expectations especially for the price! If I could I would give it 10 stars! I have a Dodge Ram 4X4, 5.7 Hemi, and it only took about 10 minutes to install. It is plug and play and so easy. I started out in "ECO" mode, and it is more responsive and seems to shift smoother and get to overdrive a little quicker, hopefully saving even more gas. Then I tried F1.3 "Comfortable" mode and I was quite surprised at the improved response! So I bumped it up to "Sports" mode, F2.3 and wow it came alive even more!! Then I changed it to "Racing" mode and it blew me away!!! I didn't think my truck could ever move like that!! There are even 9 settings in each mode, so there's a setting that should make every driver happy! I bought this wanting to try it out cause the price was very reasonable, and I was not disappointed!!! I'm going to get one for my wife's car now!!This thing does what it says it will. I was super skeptical, but after using it a week. Wow! It won't add any horsepower, but it will speed up your launch. You really just have to play around with it and find what works for you. The 3rd mode isn't much use as it is super sensitive. Just touch the throttle and your gone. I keep mine on the eco mode and it really does help my gas mileage. If I'm crusing on the weekends I'll put it on the first or second mode. So, if your ETB has a little lag, I definitely suggest this. Just make sure to get the correct one for your vehicle. I'm running mine on a 2013 F150 Regular Cab with a 5.0.Very fast and easy to install and use great value for the price2012 JKU Update!!! You need to clear DTC’s after install. Just installed it and went for a short drive. Seems affective in all modes. Your check engine light might go on after first start up and pedal depression. If so clear DTC’s. After that light stayed off. Best to keep key out of ignition when installing. I had a hard time with plug ins until I removed the siemens vdo box. Its 2 10mm screws.I was very skeptical at first but I am very glad I bought it. My 2015 F150 V8 Lariat is a lot more fun to drive now. It is crazy how much of difference it makes. You just have to play around with the different settings until you get it comfortable for your driving style. I have recommended to several other guys with trucks. Definitely worth the money.
