These feel like they are made of the same material and removal of the old plates and installation of these was really easy and they fit well. Keeps the airflow just as good as the original plates. No overheating issues. I got these because I did have the PS5 in our TV Cabinet horizontally and it was just getting too hot. Wanted to move it out of the cabinet and put it vertically on the side of cabinet and have kind of hide in the shadows and these help it do thatBought this one when the one I previously purchased of another brand arrived damaged.
