I have been a big fan of Archgon m.2 nvme heatsinks for a long time. I have purchased 4 or 5 of their 2280 length units, and just received this 2280/22110 version today. Although, advertised as a PS5 design, I found myself with a 22110 nvme stick shucked from an external enclosure that stopped functioning, but still worked fine on a SSD PCIe M.2 Adapter. Downside was that outside of the external enclosure there was no passive heat dissipation and the stick at idle was pushing temps in the high 60 deg C. I was fairly surprised at how few options there were for 22110 size heat sinks available with coverage on both sides, although I guess the 22110 size is not very mainstream these days.Installing the heatsink was easy, and after running some quick tests has easily brought down the nvme temp by ~20 deg C.My only complaint/suggestion would be to extend the bottom piece so that the bottom back 30% of the stick has coverage...the back top is covered by the extended top piece, but the bottom black tray is still only the length of a 2280 stick...Similarly...the thermal tape included in the packaging is again only sized for the 2280 stick...luckily I had some left over tape from previously purchased 2280 heat sinks where the drives used only had chips on one side of stick, where as this 22110 stick has many, many more chips and on both sides of the stick...Would recommend this to anyone looking to better cool their nvme drives.
