Certain amount off pressure needed at some places for the hooks to click in place. The cover is more of a frosted blue, which is great because it won't show scratches (or show the scratches you made trying to get the old cover off). And I've paired it with the RGB light rings from this same seller. The remote doesn't work for me, but the app did. It’s really a matte transparent, and it’s kind of ugly. I’m past the return date for it, so I’m just going to give it away and buy a $60 gloss transparent one that I saw.I liked it but does not snap in as smooth as original but still great product
